Jeff was born in 1971,Maryland and
attended the University of Maryland.Jeff started drawing
A comic strip for his college, after he finished college he
wasn’t successful to get his comic published.In 1998 Jeff
started writing the diary of a wimpy kid,he worked on the
Book for almost eight years until he showed it to a publisher. After
that the book became a massive hit.Jeff gets a lot of his inspiration from real life like his jokes, he gets
them from family and friends.Before he writes he
will come up with a list of jokes around 350 of them.Fun fact that after Jeff wrote his first book he made all of his other books have the same amount of pages all of his books have 217 pages.
The Book
This book is really funny and falls under the genre of comedy this is one of my favourite books of all time and if you really like the first book there are 9 more books to read.This book is about a middle school boy named Greg Heffley going through a hard time,this book is filled with laughs.I can’t stop reading this book after you read a page you will be hooked.A lot of people can relate to Greg because he thinks he is just an average,normal kid.I think that everyone should read it I love reading the books over and over again.His new book Diary of a Wimpy Kid Double Down will be coming out sometime this year.
