The Spook’s Battle is a story about a young boy named Tom who goes to a spook to train as an apprentice. As part of the job he gains many enemies, most of them witches. Soon Tom's worst fears come to life and the devil himself is after him! Tom has to find a way to survive on his own and unlock the mysteries about his mother. Perhaps one of her many secrets could save him? The Spook’s battle is one of the most amazing stories I have ever read. It has just the right amount of suspense and drama, although, sometimes the plot line gets confusing and unclear, but overall I really enjoyed the book and I can’t wait for more!
