“Ruby Redfort - Feel the Fear”

Ruby Redfort is a 13 year old kid, ace code cracker, secret undercover agent for Spectrum and a genius! ‘Feel the Fear’ is the fourth book out of six in the Ruby Redfort series written by ace book writer Lauren Child. The order of this series is, ‘Look into my Eyes’, ‘Take Your last Breath’, ‘Catch your death’, ‘Feel the Fear’, ‘Pick your Poison’ and the new book is ‘Hang in There Bozo’.
Feel the Fear is a mystery book as you never will know what comes next, this is one of the three reasons why I love this series. The second reason like it is because it has lots of ups and down’s eg. she goes from doing parkour to fighting an evil villain. Third reason is because Lauren Child writes it so when you start to read, the setting and adventure pops out of your page and sets a vivid picture in your as soon as you read the first sentence. I really love this book!
In this book Ruby must prove to Spectrum that she can be a field agent and not just work with Froghorn (A.K.A the silent G as Ruby calls him) in his office.
Something or someone has been stealing things from high rooms in Twinford City. People have claimed to see something sky high and are feeling ghost movements in an old building at the ‘Scarlet Panna Cotta’. Once I finished the book it felt like I was with her on her mission! Ruby is determined to complete this mission even if she is is accompanied by her best friend Clancy Crew and her butler/Spectrum secret agent, Hitch. Ruby Redfort is mischievous, exciting and really fun to read about. Ruby must bust this mystery and not let her curiosity get the best of her…
Lauren Child first introduced the character, Ruby Redfort, in her three great award winning books (Utterly Me, Clarice Bean, Clarice Bean Spells Trouble and Clarice Bean Don’t Look Now). From there she started writing her ‘Ruby Redfort’ books. Lauren gets her inspiration from people's conversations and/or seeing something funny happen.
